We had an amazing day at Southfields Farm with John Plumb the farmer. First we sorted and indentified different crops, then we travelled around the farm on a trailer with John driving the tractor and we found out about how lots of different crops are turned into foods. The we went on a minibeast hunt and looked for different wild flowers in the medow. When we were on the way back to the farm we stopped in the field and rolled some hay bails, then we visited the sheep and fed them. When we got back to the farm we got to look at the different animals, we held the chickens, walked the goats, looked at the lamas and donkeys and listened to pigs grunting. Then we went to have our dinner, after dinner we held baby chicks and pretended to drive a new and old tractor.
